Immersa nelle campagne del modenese, questa villa settecentesca è stata ristrutturata da Lara Gilmore e Massimo Bottura, che l’hanno resa un luogo intimo dove trascorrere una vacanza tra arte e buon cibo. Proprio l’arte è il filo conduttore di questa Country House, che ospita una collezione d'arte contemporanea composta da opere d'arte, fotografie e sculture italiane e internazionali. Arredamenti vintage, una stanza dedicata all’ascolto della musica, con circa cinquemila vinili. Un luogo in cui sentirsi a casa, proprio come a casa c’è a disposizione una cucina in stile familiare dove sono disponibili snack e bevande gratuiti durante il giorno. Le camere, spaziose e dotate di tutti i comfort, sono degli unicum. La colazione è uno dei punti di forza della struttura, tanta Emilia, con la sua cucina golosa. In cucina Jessica Rosval, talentuosa cuoca di origine canadese. Durante la settimana propone alcuni dei classici che hanno reso grande l’Osteria Francescana, in una formula “teatrale” dove gli ospiti possono interagire con la cucina. La domenica è dedicata al brunch, nel giardino durante la stagione estiva, aperto anche agli ospiti esterni, per un menu tutto fuoco e fiamme. Forno a legna, barbecue, in cui Jessica dimostra tutta la sua sensibilità, con delle meravigliose short ribs. Immersed in the countryside of Modena, this eighteenth-century villa has been renovated by Lara Gilmore and Massimo Bottura, making it a warm environment in which to spend some time between art and good food. Art is the main theme of this place. In fact, it holds a contemporary art collection consisting of fine works of art, photographs, and Italian as well as international sculptures. The furniture is vintage and there is a room dedicated to music, where you can relax and enjoy any of the approximately five thousand vinyl records. This is a place to feel at home. Just like at home, there is a family-style kitchen where free snacks and drinks are available during the day. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the comforts. Breakfast is one of the strengths of this place thanks to Emilia and her delightful cuisine. In the kitchen, you will enjoy the talents of the Canadian cook Jessica Rosval. During the week she offers some of the classics that have made Osteria Francescana so special, in a “theatrical” formula where guests can feel free to interact with the kitchen. Sundays are dedicated to brunch, which takes place in the garden during the summer season and it is also open to external guests, featuring a very intense and satisfying menu. The wood-fired oven and the barbecue let Jessica showcase her talents, with some wonderful short ribs.
