The Brunelleschi Hotel is located in the historic area of Florence, in the Renaissance district. It is a truly incredible area to visit if you are in the capital city of Tuscany. The rooms are full of charm, some with four-poster beds, and there is an exclusive Pool Suite. A sumptuous suite is divided into two rooms and equipped with an enchanting terrace from which you can admire Florence Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower, and Brunelleschi's Dome. The restaurant of the Santa Elisabetta is a small gem: There are six tables in the Pagliazza tower, which are probably of Byzantine origins; it is an environment full of charisma, with its soft lighting, the long, white tablecloths, the wooden floor and ceiling, and the large chandelier in the middle of the room. The kind and professional restaurant manager Alessandro Fè is there to welcome you. Rocco De Santis, in the kitchen, is also the executive chef for the entire hotel; he offers Mediterranean cuisine with some interesting Asian touches, making balance and the search for perfection his strength. The smoked amberjack, the Bernese sauce, the lemon gel and celery essence with the Beef Carpaccio served in its juice, the foie gras, the port wine reduction, the Calugi-Selection black truffle, are all absolutely worth trying.
