Opposites often look alike: in the city of Gorizia, in the north-easternmost international borders of Italy, you can find the warmth of the typical southern fraternal atmosphere. Even though it is not immediate, exchanging a word will be enough to open a whole world of fun cultural exchange, which will often be made of region-to-region stories, cultural differences, but also cheer, fun, and serenity. The design is welcoming, the wood dominates the environment. Arranged on two floors, it also has a children's area with tables outside. The atmosphere is Central European, and so is the menu. There is the unmissable Ljubljanska, the fried par excellence of Balkan cuisine, breaded turkey cutlet stuffed with Praga ham and cheese, a real explosion of flavors. All skillfully fried to give that main course solidity. You can enjoy the juicy and delicious cockerel rooster, to be appreciated in an old-fashion way: that is, without any silverware (the kind staff will, of course, provide you with wet wipes). Do not miss the green Spatzle with speck and gorgonzola cheese. They look very satisfyingly filling. The tasty spinach mixture perfectly matches the speck and goes along well with the softness of the gorgonzola cheese. Among the craft beers, you will find the IPA ALE which is branded Wiener Haus.
