Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo, con tavoli e sedie in legno, stile anni Sessanta e Settanta. Anche l’arredamento è singolare, con orologi a pendolo, vecchie bilance. Dal 1955, la famiglia Zambon – ora si è alla terza generazione – propone i classici piatti di pesce della cucina veneziana. Il menu è dettato a voce, le proposte sono varie: ci sono i classici “cicchetti”, la frittura, la trippa, le proposte al forno, al vapore, la domenica il bollito. Il tutto può essere accompagnato da un buon Prosecco o da un Cabernet. Un’ottantina di posti a disposizione, gli interni sono alla buona. Piatti abbondanti, è l’ideale per pranzi o cene in compagnia, anche per una serata in coppia senza essere in un posto di lusso ma mangiando bene, alla casalinga. Il pesce è ben cucinato, dagli antipasti ai primi e continuando con i secondi. Un assaggio delle patatine fritte è d’obbligo, come stuzzichino, anche in attesa dei piatti ordinati: sono tagliate sottili a fette, croccanti e una tira l’altra. It feels like going back in time, with the wooden tables and chairs in the sixties and seventies style. The furniture is also unique, with pendulum clocks and old scales. Since 1955 the Zambon family, currently at its third generatio, have been offering classic seafood dishes of the Venetian cuisine. The menu is dictated to the customer by voice. There are many proposals, like the classic “cicchetti”, fried fish, tripe, baked and steamed dishes and on Sundays, you can find boiled meat. All this can be accompanied by a good Prosecco or Cabernet. About eight seats are available, the interior is unceremonious. The dishes are plentiful, ideal for lunch or dinner with friends. Or even for an evening with your partner, knowing you’re not in a place of luxury but that you’ll be eating good homemade food. The fish is well cooked, from the appetizers to the first and second course. A taste of the french fries is a must, as a snack while you are waiting for your food to arrive. The french fries are thinly sliced and crispy, you can’t help eating one after the other.
