Gli eccellenti salumi piacentini si sposano con un pane tipico della val Tidone, ovale e sottile, croccante, raro e recuperato da una coraggiosa insegna che propone lo street food tra il centro commerciale Galassia e lo stadio della città emiliana. Punto G, nome che resta impresso (dove G sta per gusto), è il regno del batarò, un tipico pane piacentino, qui proposto non solo con salumi, formaggi e verdure, ma anche in versione hamburger e dolce. Non mancano alcuni batarò davvero speciali come quelli con polpette o pesce spada. Locale essenziale (manca perfino la toilette) per una pausa veloce a tutto gusto. Il panino si può scegliere intero (sui 6-7 euro) o a metà (4 euro circa), da accompagnare con bibita biologica, birra artigianale o con una mezza bottiglia di vino locale. Da non perdere il batarò con coppa, crescenza e pomodorini.
The excellent Piacenza cured meats combine well with the bread that is typical of Val Tidone. It is oval, thick and crunchy and it is rare. It has been recuperated by a courageous enterprise that proposes street food between the Galassia shopping center and the stadium of the Emilian city. Punto G, a name that leaves an impression (G stands for gusto or flavor), is the kingdom of the batarò, a typical Piacentino bread that is proposed here with cured meats, cheeses and vegetables, but also as a hamburger or as a dessert. There are a few truly special bataròs such as the one with meatballs or another with swordfish. The locale is spartan (even the toilet is non-existent) and is suitable for a fast, full-flavored break. You can choose the full-sized sandwich for 6 or 7 euros or a half sandwich for about 4 euros. There are organic beverages such as craft beers or a half bottle of local wines. Do not miss the batarò with coppa, crescenza and cherry tomatoes.
