Gourmand – Il Panino d’autore è nella vecchia sala da the dello storico Biffi di Corso Magenta, rimessa a nuovo, con gusto, con un bel contrasto tra il nero e il legno naturale, e il menù in bella vista, scritto sulle pareti. Il panino, qui, è realmente d’autore. Grande attenzione alla materia prima, servizio puntuale, veloce, preciso, come richiedono i tempi della pausa pranzo metropolitana. La scelta è ampia, qualche opzione anche per i vegetariani. Scelto l’ingrediente principale (segnaliamo il prosciutto di cervo, il salmone norvegese selvaggio, le acciughe del Cantabrico) lo si trova declinato in due o più abbinamenti. Da provare assolutamente il panino con la stracciatella, le acciughe e la salsa rossoverde o quello con roastbeff, caprino e paprica. Molto buoni i salumi, servirebbe una spinta in più sulle salse: il gusto al palato rimane sempre un po’ troppo delicato. Servizio perfetto. Prezzi in linea con la qualità dei prodotti offerta. Nota stonata: il coperto nel conto.
Gourmand- Il Panino d'Autore is in the old tearoom in the historic Biffi on Corso Magenta. It was tastefully remodeled with a nice contrast between black and natural wood. The menu is written on the walls. Here the panino is truly gourmet. There is great care in choosing the raw materials, a precise, quick and punctual staff, as is necessary for a metropolitan lunch break. There is a wide selection, including a few vegetarian options. Once you choose your main ingredient (we recommend the venison prosciutto, the wild Norwegian salmon, and the anchovies from Cantabrico) you will find it proposed in two or more ways. We highly recommend the panino with Stracciatella cheese, anchovies and rossoverde sauce, or the one with roast beef, caprino cheese and paprika. The cured meats are very good, but the sauces need a bit more of a kick; the flavor was a bit too delicate. The service was perfect. The prices are in line with the quality of the offered products. One sour note: the service included in the bill.
