Di fronte il lungomare di Roseto degli Abruzzi c'è un luogo che da più di 20 anni rappresenta perfettamente il concetto della cucina marinara del centro Italia, si tratta de La Vecchia Marina. Il filo conduttore è proprio il mare Adriatico e i suoi meravigliosi pesci che Gennaro D'Ignazio, chef e patron della trattoria che gestisce insieme alla sua famiglia, sceglie personalmente ogni notte aspettando il rientro dei pescherecci nel porto. Da queste grandi materie prime, nasce una cucina priva di fronzoli, ma anche diretta, gustosa e di sostanza. Tutti i piatti del menu, dall'antipasto ai dolci sono centrati sul territorio e la cultura locale. L'atmosfera è semplice ed informale, il servizio attento e durante l'estate è possibile cenare in un amplio giardino. Molto interessante la carta dei vini.

Right on the promenade in Roseto degli Abruzzi, there is an establishment which, for more than 20 years, has perfectly represented the concept of seafood cuisine in central Italy, we are talking about La Vecchia Marina. The central theme is the Adriatic Sea and its magnificent fish, which Gennaro D’Ignazio, chef and patron of the tavern which he runs with his family, personally chooses every night waiting at the port for the fishing boats to dock. From these great raw ingredients, a cuisine was born with no frills attached, but it is also direct, substantial and flavorful. All the dishes on the menu, from the appetizers to the desserts are centered on the local territory and culture. The atmosphere is simple and informal, the service is attentive and during the summer you can dine in the spacious garden. The wine list is very interesting.
