E' il riferimento cittadino per un'ottima, fresca e divertente cucina di pesce. La famiglia Corona gestisce con passione, garbo e simpatia questa trattoria in cui è la materia prima a fare la differenza. Si parte con i crudi di mare: immancabili i gamberetti di nassa marinati, o ancora la tartara di tonno alalunga con capperi. Ghiotti gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare, o ancora le linguine bottarga e seppie. Lasciatevi suggerire dall'oste Gianni il pescato del giorno, per un secondo che spazia dalle fritture (superbe le triglie) agli arrosti, passando per le più tradizionali preparazioni come i "polipetti murati" (in umido). Buoni i dolci: spicca tra tutti il cannolo di Piana degli Albanesi scomposto. Eccellente la carta dei vini, tutta siciliana, sarà cura di Orazio raccontarvi le novità e le più celebri etichette. This is the town landmark for an excellent, fresh and fun seafood cuisine. The Corona family manages this trattoria with passion, grace and kindness. It is a place where the raw materials make all the difference. You will begin with a raw seafood dish: do not miss the marinated nassa shrimp or the albacore tuna tartar with capers. The spaghetti with sea urchin is excellent, as is the linguine with cuttlefish and bottarga. Let your oste (host) Gianni guide you through the catch of the day for a second course that spans from fried dishes (the triglie are superb) to roasted fish, and more traditional dishes such as the “polipetti murati” (mini octopus) in broth. The desserts are good: among all of them the destructured Piana degli Albanesi cannolo stands out. The wine list is excellent. All labels are Sicilian.
