Cuisine that satisfies the most demanding gourmet palates, perfect dining room service, delicious breakfasts, appeal of the structure, warm hospitality provided by the staff while paying attention to the guest’s comfort, aperitif menu, spa, and wellness centers.

These are the winning cards that make Italian luxury great.  It is often accompanied by the discovery of Italian beauty immersed in the charm of lakes, seas, mountains, coastlines, and cities of art.  These make stays in high-standard hotels the preferred choice for international customers.

50 Top Italy Luxury presents the best of Italy: Hotels, Relais, and Charming Residences, which also offer a fine-dining restaurant and a refined food & beverage service.

Antonino Cannavacciuolo triumphs in first place with his Relais & Chateaux Villa Crespi (Orta San Giulio, Novara) which houses the restaurant of the same name. Coming in second is the Grand Hotel in Villa Feltrinelli (Gargnano, Brescia), with its restaurant Villa Feltrinelli designed by Stefano Baiocco. Third place goes to Borgo Egnazia (Savelletri di Fasano, Brindisi), which houses the Due Camini restaurant, directed by chef Domingo Schingaro.

This is a trio of absolute quality, which is just as extraordinary as all the other venues present among the 50 in the ranking.

“Recent studies confirm the growth of the luxury sector – explain Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro, and Albert Sapere, the curators of the guide – and this is even more true for the hotel sector, since they host customers who love Italy, cities of art, the food and wine traditions, and the iconic dishes”.

The 50 Top Italy Luxury guide was created to showcase the best of high-class Italian hospitality.  It is monitored by a team of expert gastronomic inspectors with a distinct sensitivity towards beauty and appeal.  The venues were visited and assessed in absolute confidentiality and anonymity, with inspectors always paying the bill as regular customers.

At the end of the first round of visits, a new survey was carried out which outlined the final ranking and which determined the highly anticipated special prizes.

The ranking, unveiled via live streaming on Sunday, October the 10th on the social pages of 50 Top, saw the region of Campania at the top of the competition with 15 venues in the ranking. It is followed by Sicily (7), Tuscany (6), Lombardy and Lazio (5), Trentino-Alto Adige (2), and Veneto (2).  At the end of the list with one venue each are:  Piedmont, Puglia, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Umbria, Valle d’Aosta, Calabria, and Basilicata.

All these establishments have been inserted into the 50 Top Table app, which utilizes an artificial intelligence system designed for the user to easily locate and find these noteworthy locations both in Italy and around the world in the Top 50 guides.
